NorAmera consists of
three departments:
• Operations
• Logistics
• Maintenance
Employment with NorAmera Bio-Energy Corporation offers the
following to all full-time individuals employed:
Operations
Individuals working in the Operations department perform a variety
of functions in the facility. We are a very “hands-on” facility,
individuals will have not only exposure to the automated process
but will have the physical aspect while making adjustments (lining
out equipment). Those with strong backgrounds in older or
retro-fitted plants will find the aspect commonplace while those
new to the industry will gain significant amounts of knowledge on
the process in short time frames.
General duties include:
• Start-up and Shut Down of equipment as required
• Boiler operation (certified individuals)
• Product monitoring and corrective action through process
• General repairs to equipment
• Work with other departments to complete projects as needed
• Operation checks on equipment
Applicants who possess a 4th class Power Engineering certification
are given preference during the hiring process but applicants with
a mechanical aptitude and strong ability to problem solve will
also be considered.
Logistics
NorAmera is looking for mechanically inclined Drivers. Our
business allow the driver to be home every night, by offering full
time hours driving in and around Weyburn and surrounding areas.
Required Skills:
• Class 1 Drivers License – must provide a drivers abstract
• Must be willing to work alone and drive in all road conditions
• Ability to maintain records
• Maintain a safe vehicle and conditions to protect your load
Maintenance
Individuals working in the maintenance department perform a
variety of functions in the facility. NorAmera Bioenergy is
committed to recruiting, and retaining the best in the industry.
Those with strong backgrounds in a processing plant will gain
significant amounts of knowledge in a short period of time.
NorAmera Bioenergy has created a culture that attract the best,
while fostering a “small family environment”.
General duties include:
• Repairs to equipment (pumps, motors, and grain loops etc.).
• Following work orders.
• Regular preventive maintenance.
• Work with other departments to complete projects.
• Regular maintenance on our trucks, trailers, bobcat, and
forklift.
Applicants working towards a millwright certification are given
preference during the hiring process, however applicants with a
mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic will also be
considered.
