The ethanol process uses the whole grain. Starch is converted to sugar and fermented to ethanol. The ethanol is a natural fuel product. It is clean burning, contains no sulphur, nitrogen or heavy metals and substantially reduces tail pipe pollutants. The unfermentable products are marketed as high quality feed stock called distiller grain. Distillers grain is an important ingredient in the dietary requirements of dairy and feedlots, especially those feeding under intensive high density production conditions.

NorAmera purchases grains from a variety of suppliers, some suppliers are large facilities and others are smaller farm direct purchase. The two grain purchases we are continually sourcing are wheat and corn grains. If you are a supplier of these grain types please contact our Logistic Manager for more information.
